Going home to Ghanaur from Delhi? Ghanaur is a town in Patiala district between Rajpura and Ambala. The drive covers roughly 225 km and normally takes 4–5.5 hours, depending on traffic and how many breaks you take.
Delhi is where most Punjab trips start or end — for family visits, hospital appointments, business, or connecting trains and flights. We pick up from Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Paharganj, New Delhi and Old Delhi railway stations, Kashmere Gate ISBT, Rohini, Pitampura, Model Town, Rajouri Garden, Janakpuri, Dwarka, Lajpat Nagar, Saket and Vasant Kunj.
The cab leaves Delhi northwards on the GT Karnal Road (NH44), crossing into Haryana at the Singhu (Kundli) border. From there the cab continues via Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra (Pipli), Shahabad, Ambala and Rajpura to Ghanaur. From Ghanaur the cab first heads to Rajpura and then follows the same highway route. From Rajpura the cab crosses into Haryana near Shambhu and stays on NH44 all the way.
The driver drops you at your door anywhere in Ghanaur, including Ghanaur town and nearby villages.
Murthal's famous parantha dhabas come up within the first hour out of Delhi, and the Karnal highway food courts are good for a longer break. Further on, Ambala and Rajpura are convenient for tea and washrooms. Tell the driver whenever you want a break.
Share your exact pickup address and a landmark — Delhi colonies can be hard to find early in the morning, and a clear landmark saves time at the start. If you are carrying lots of luggage, choose the Ertiga or Innova so everything fits comfortably.
If you are travelling from a nearby town instead, we cover Rajpura (~20 km), Ambala (~20 km), Devigarh (~25 km), Patiala (~25 km) and Chitkara University (~25 km). Distances are approximate road distances.
Most travellers on this route book a sedan; groups of five or more, or anyone carrying big suitcases, should go for the Ertiga, Carens or Innova so nobody is squeezed.
